An American Journalist Jim Clancy has bashed the President of Nigeria Muhammadu Buhari following the arrest and detention of members of the Bring Back Our Girls campaign group during a meeting yesterday in Abuja.
The group led by former Minister Oby Ezekwesili were having their usual meeting clamouring for the release of the 112 girls believed to still be in custody of the Boko Haram men since they were captured in April 2014.
For reasons not yet verified, some members of the group including Oby Ezekwesili were held yesterday and disallowed from leaving the FCT Police Command.
Angrily, the former Minister had tweeted at President Buhari seeking to know why she had been arrested and what her offence was since the policemen refused to give her answers or who tell her who was behind the arrest and detention.
In reaction, an American journalist, Jim Clancy had responded to the tweet, saying that the President has a problem if citizens could be arrested for seeking the rescience of their children in captivity.
