Without a doubt, Krizbeatz has revolutionized the Nigerian music scene. Adding a whole lot of sauce and swagger it’s no news seeing how he takes the life of Nigerian producer with stride, elegance and flair, making it look easy, with his journey to the top conglomerate. Chris Alvin Sunday is everything but inadequate.
Such a fine sound-architect, young and filled with vitality, we are far from seeing the last of his studio magic; I mean who wouldn’t want another “national anthem” comparable to Tekno’s Pana and Runtown’s For Life. His charm is quite evident and recognizable, any music lover and observer would definitely have noticed the unpredictability to which he experiments with Indian sounds, adding to the dance appeal we’ve all grown to love. This drummer boy is poles apart from the end of his drumming.
After studying Music Technology in South Africa, Krizbeatz decided to return to his background, to commence this new wave in 2014. Being the “King of the New Wave” certainly comes with responsibilities, or atleast leadership roles, which in contrast can be something other upcoming producers, DJs, and song writers can look up to. Krizbeatz has certainly paved the way for the juvenile, the future of the Nigerian music industry and without a doubt, the foreign scene as well.
With more than a few individual projects done and dusted, and a tangible number at hand, Krizbeatz the Drummer Boy has earned his place among the Top 5 best Nigerian producers. Bagging ‘Best Music Producer’ at The Nigeria Entertainment Awards and ‘Music Producer of The Year’ from the prestigious AFRIMMA awards, this young icon is steady on the rise, and there’s no stopping him.
