UNUSUAL Timix Covers Taylor Live Magazine’s Editorial Issue #TBT
Q: What are the struggles you have faced in the music industry and how have you over come them?
Ans: The usual struggles, nothing new… there was a time I struggled to find finance to run the business; shoot videos and what not—but now social media has changed the game we play.
Now you don’t need all the money in the world to reach your audience. Now you just have to go HAM with a passion and your fans will find you.
Q: You have been quiet for some months what should your fans be expecting from you and how soon?
Ans: Yeah I have. I’ve had to go back to the core of myself and rediscover my purpose for being a creative. You can expect an unadulterated non-conforming version of Timbo… and I couldn’t possibly be happier about that.
Q: What’s your plan to own your place in the industry?
Ans: I don’t know about the industry but my plan to connect with my fans and grow the MIGMIE family is one that God and I are every working on. And at the moment what he says I should do is to “be not afraid to speak the truth in the way I’ve gifted it you to… giddem as e dey hot”!
